Brightline Boca Raton station parking: the garage, the rates and the lots to avoid

The short answer

Brightline's Boca Raton, Florida station is at 101 NW 4th St., downtown, across from Mizner Park. Park in Brightline's covered garage at 151 NW 4th St.: $15 a day pre-paid or $20 at the station, open 24 hours, a 3-minute walk. Do not use the free Downtown Library or Library Annex lots, which post no Brightline parking and no overnight parking.

Brightline is the train that stops in downtown Boca Raton. Its station sits between the Downtown Library and Mizner Park, and its garage is a short walk away. The free City lots next door look tempting, but they are signed against train parking. We read Brightline’s station page and parking page, and Downtown Boca’s parking page, on Oct. 20, 2026. This guide is not the City of Boca Raton, Downtown Boca (the Boca Raton CRA) or Brightline.

The short version, as of Oct. 20, 2026

Station: 101 NW 4th St. Garage: 151 NW 4th St., covered, open 24 hours. $15 a day pre-paid (valid until 3:59 am the next day), $20 at the station, charged hourly. Not in the Downtown Library or Library Annex lots.

Where the station is

Brightline lists its Boca Raton station at 101 NW 4th St., Boca Raton, FL 33432. Station hours are Monday to Sunday, 5:30 AM to the last train departure. Brightline’s opening release describes a 22,000-square-foot station on a 1.8-acre site next to the downtown library and across from Mizner Park, with a 455-space parking garage.

Some news reports put the station and garage at 400 NW 2nd Ave. That is the Downtown Library’s address. Use Brightline’s addresses in your map app: 101 NW 4th St. for the station and 151 NW 4th St. for the garage.

Service began on Dec. 21, 2022, the day after a ribbon cutting on Dec. 20, 2022. That makes the station 3 years old as of Oct. 20, by our count from Brightline’s dates.

The Brightline garage: rates and rules

Brightline’s covered garage is at 151 NW 4th St., which Brightline calls a short 3-minute walk to the station. It is open 24 hours. The Boca Raton tab on Brightline’s parking page lists:

  • $15 a day, pre-paid. Pre-paid parking is valid until 3:59 am the following day.
  • $20 at the station. Brightline says at-station parking is charged hourly.
  • How to pay: add parking at ticket checkout, or scan the QR code in the garage. Brightline describes the garage as gateless.
  • Monthly passes are available; the Boca Raton tab does not print a monthly price.

The arithmetic: booking ahead is $5 less than the $20 station figure ($20 minus $15). Note the cutoff. A pre-paid day ends at 3:59 am the next morning, so if you are away overnight or longer, check at checkout how many days your parking covers. Brightline’s page does not spell out a multi-day rate for Boca Raton, so we do not give one.

Downtown Boca’s 2023 parking map colors the Brightline garage as metered rather than free, which matches Brightline’s own rates. If the map and the garage signs ever differ, go by the signs and Brightline’s page.

Why not to park in the library lots

The Downtown Library lot (400 NW 2nd Avenue) and the Library Annex lot (350 NW 4th Street) sit right beside the station and are free. Downtown Boca’s Easy Parking page recommends them for events at Mizner Park Amphitheater, The Studio at Mizner Park and Sanborn Square. It also posts two rules on both lots:

  • No Brightline parking.
  • No overnight parking, 12am to 8am. The City’s own parking page gives 11pm to 8am in one place and 12am to 8am in another for the library lot, so plan on leaving by 11pm.

Nearby, the Building Administration lot at 200 NW 2nd Avenue is also free, with no overnight parking from 11pm to 6am and no RV parking. City Hall, at 201 W. Palmetto Park Road, has free lots with no RV parking. Those lots are for visitors and event-goers. A train trip that runs past 11pm, or overnight, belongs in the Brightline garage.

  • For events at Mizner Park Amphitheater, The Studio at Mizner Park and Sanborn Square, Downtown Boca recommends free City lots: City Hall (201 W. Palmetto Park Road), Downtown Library (400 NW 2nd Avenue), Building Administration (200 NW 2nd Avenue) and Library Annex (350 NW 4th Street). Brightline parking is not allowed in the library lots. What about the Mizner Park garages?

Mizner Park says parking is free in its four garages, A, B, C and D. The City and Downtown Boca describe that free parking as for Mizner Park visitors and patrons, and Mizner Park says it uses license plate reader technology. Downtown Boca also says the park area in Mizner Park is closed daily from 2am to sunrise. We found no page offering the Mizner Park garages for train parking, so use them when you are visiting Mizner Park, and use Brightline’s garage when you are riding.

Walking from the station to Mizner Park

Brightline places the station across from Mizner Park, so arriving by train and walking over is the simplest car-free day out downtown. Mizner Park lists its hours as Monday to Saturday 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and says store and restaurant hours may vary. At the north end is Mizner Park Amphitheater, a City venue at 590 Plaza Real. Our Mizner Park guide covers the center and the Amphitheater, and our museums and arts page covers the Boca Raton Museum of Art at the north end. For the rest of downtown on foot, see things to do.

If you would rather ride than walk, BocaConnect, the City’s on-demand electric shuttle, is booked in the Circuit app. Rides inside the downtown zone are free. Our BocaConnect guide has hours and zone fares.

Tri-Rail is a different station

Brightline and Tri-Rail use different stations in Boca Raton, and they are not near each other. Tri-Rail’s Boca Raton station is at 680 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431, with free parking for commuters. It is not downtown. Tri-Rail’s directions start from I-95 at Yamato Road, exit 48B, and Palm Tran routes 2 and 94 connect there; the City lists Route 94 as the FAU-Tri-Rail shuttle. If your ticket says Tri-Rail, do not drive to the Brightline garage.

Driving in

On FDOT’s I-95 exit list, exit 44 is Palmetto Park Road and exit 45 is SR 808 (Glades Road), both in Boca Raton. Our getting here guide covers the drive, Palm Tran and the shuttle, and our downtown parking guide lists every lot with its owner and overnight rule.

Checklist for a Brightline day

  • Map to 151 NW 4th St. for the garage, not the library address.
  • Add parking when you buy the ticket to pay $15 rather than $20.
  • Skip the Downtown Library and Library Annex lots: no Brightline parking.
  • Station doors open at 5:30 AM.
  • Tri-Rail riders go to 680 Yamato Road instead.
